What started as a perfect deep jigging drift quickly turned into one of the most exciting catches I’ve ever experienced. After hooking and fighting a beautiful Ruby Snapper from the depths, I thought the battle was over. But as we were bringing it closer to the boat, everything changed.
Without warning, a giant Barracuda exploded from below and attacked the Ruby Snapper, biting into it before it could reach the surface. Instead of losing the fish completely, the Barracuda stayed locked onto the snapper, giving us an incredible double catch on a single jig.
